BELGIUM IS BACK IN ANTARCTICA

Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium, Honorary President of the International Polar Foundation, will inaugurate the pre-built Princess Elisabeth Antarctic Station on September 5th, 2007 at the "Tour et Taxis" site in Brussels.

The site will be open to the public from 6 to 9 September 2007. This event will offers unique opportunity to take a look at the "zero emission" station before it is disassembled and transported by ship to Antarctica, where it will be re-assembled from November to February 2008.

An exhibition pertaining to the making of the Station and on climate change issues will also be organised on site.
